SHANGHAI, Sept. 11 (SMM) – China reported big growth in automobile production and sales in August, according to China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
China to Set Timetable for Ban Fuel Vehicle Sales
The country’s automobile production was 2.09 million units in August, up 1.61% month-on-month and 4.84% year-on-year, and sales were 2.19 million units, also up 10.89% month-on-month and 5.27% year-on-year.
Share Prices Surge in New Energy Vehicle Segment after Sale Ban News
Production and sales totaled 17.68 million units and 17.51 million units, respectively, during January- August, up 4.67% and 4.25%, from a year ago.
